Guild

The Societies guild is the governing body of all societies in UCC. Its’ role is to provide Societies with all the help and support they need to ensure that they can be the best society that they possibly can. The guild does this by administering funds and training to societies as well as representing societies interests within the university. Each year a President and Executive committee are elected by the societies to represent them for the coming academic year. Other individuals who sit on the guild are an ex officio from the previous guild, the Accommodation and Student Ac- tivities officer Maura, the Assistant Accommodation and student activities officer Dave, the Student Union Administrator Dennis as well as the Students Union Representative. The Students Union Representative is the current Students Union President.
